Born in Philadelphia, Nicki Romeo was daughter to a multi-talented father; an artist, musician and dancer.  Her career in the arts began in performance, singing in Philly supper clubs and appearing on local children's television and in regional theater.

Nicki made her way to New York City and soaked in the performance and art scenes creating 'Workin' Girls,' an a cappella singing trio, appearing in off-broadway productions, and working the comedy clubs.

When Nicki inherited an old, upright piano she began a new phase in her creative life;

songwriting.  She wrote dozens of tunes, including a yet unreleased ballad recorded by Roberta Flack.

After discovering Julia Cameron's 'The Artist's Way', Nicki turned in a new direction in her creative career; the sketch pad and canvas, painting animal portraits, human portraits and marrying portraiture with poetry using every media from pencil, pen & ink to pastels and paints.  The heartfelt drawings and paintings that came from this creative period are the foundation of Nicki Romeo's collection of greeting cards, ceramic tiles, portraits and murals.

 Nicki's most recent work adornes the walls and exam rooms of a local animal clinic with murals and animal tiled walls.

Nicki Romeo is an avid animal lover & spirited artist who derives joy from both the creation of her work and her ability to share it with others.
